In 1963 Tony began axe work in Scotland which prompted his passion for forestry which he later studied. During the 1970’s outbreak of Dutch Elm Disease (DED) Tony moved to the South of England following the demand in forestry works. Tony later became a contracts manager and has since accrued over 50 years’ experience in the industry, including selling and exporting timber products. Tony set up S.A.Saunders independently in 2015 with his dedication to recycling. S.A.Saunders provides honest advice fair, offers fair and competitive pricing and high-quality workmanship. We cover domestic, commercial and construction site projects with a focus on repurposing all arboricultural waste for renewable solutions. Materials such as roots and soil are screened and wood is turned into chip for biomass. Over the years we have developed a machine and plant focused approach to reduce risk elements in the ways we work. At S.A.Saunders there is never a problem, only an opportunity.
