Sanitation First is a UK based charity providing ecological, sustainable toilets for schools, communities, and families in India. 2.4 billion people around the world don’t have access to a toilet, which greatly impacts people’s health, wellbeing, and ability to lead healthy, productive lives. Our vision is a world where everyone has access to clean, safe sanitation. In order to work towards this vision, we have created an ecological, sustainable sanitation system that has been specifically designed to provide sustainable, hygienic, and cost-effective sanitation. Since working in India, we have built a total of 3,500 toilets and sanitation blocks, which have changed the lives of over 290,000 men, women, and children.
