Root Access Information

Root Access is a community space dedicated to fostering an inclusive, collaborative environment that supports creative exploration at the intersection of art, technology, crafting, and innovation. We do this by providing access to tools, resources, and education, engaging in outreach and mutual support, and empowering people to participate in the growing creative and technical economy of the Central Valley. Our space includes tools for 3D printing, laser cutting, electronics, woodworking, sewing, vinyl cutting, and much more. We operate on a membership model: members get full access to tools, equipment, and workspaces, while regular community events, workshops, and meetups are open to the public. Whether you're prototyping a project, creating art, repairing something broken, or learning a new skill, Root Access is a place to make, share, and collaborate. We're proud to be a member-led nonprofit rooted in Fresno's Tower District.
