Requat Advisory Ltd is an interdisciplinary consulting and research firm which advises public and private sector organisations in the areas of policy, risk and communications. Additionally, we accept certain agency & representation appointments to assist with the process of market entry. Based in Edinburgh with a supplementary office in Brussels, the company was initially founded by researcher, journalist and entrepreneur Philipp Requat to manage his personal commitments as an external advisor. It has since developed into a successful boutique consultancy with a small staff and network of associate experts. Together, we can draw on specialised knowledge across the fields of International Political Economy, International Relations, Social Policy and Business with a topical emphasis on European Affairs & Regulation. Amongst others, current and recent clients include the European Commission (in cooperation with RAND Europe), the University of Oxford, the University of Birmingham and one of the world's largest news agencies. Requat Advisory has extensive experienced in drafting strategy and policy papers; compiling region-, country-, industry- and company reports; designing business and distribution models, writing op-eds, analytical pieces, news wires press releases. We further host workshops and seminars, offer telephone, email and face-to-face consultations and engage with governing authorities, suppliers and customers in selected markets on behalf of clients. More recently, we have also begun to help British and European SMEs prepare for the unique commercial, regulatory and organisational challenges of Brexit.
