Founded in 2001, Bryan Tracey partnered with industry veteran Todd Gemmell who'd specialised in transporting meat carcass throughout Auckland since the late 80’s. Bryan Ayson joined Refrigafreighters as a director in 2006. The company continued to grow quickly with several acquisitions and continued high quality excellent service. Bryan Ayson and Todd Gemmell sold their shareholdings in Refrigafreighters in 2012. Glenn O’Sullivan and Bryan Tracey joined together to steer the company to what it has become today, offering a high-quality service throughout New Zealand. 25-years on, Refrigafreighters remains a family-owned business that through a combination of continued business growth, acquisitions & investment, and expansion and upgrading of the fleet, has become one of New Zealand’s top temperature-controlled transport, storage and distribution companies.
