Red Textas is a consultancy building surveying company established in 1994. We evolved in the wake of Government de-regulation of the building surveying industry and in response to the frustration from architects, designers and builders in obtaining building permits. We have been able to exercise the building surveying functions in a practical and responsible manner ever since, as well as to develop a vast network of clients. Our business is mainly focused around the residential and commercial market in inner metropolitan suburbs in the local Municipalities ( Bayside, Glen Eira, Stonnington, Boroondara, Kingston, Monash). However we've been consistently issuing building permits in other Council areas such as Whitehorse, Banyule, Darebin, Port Phillip, Yarra, Melbourne, Wyndham and the Mornington Peninsula & Yarra Ranges Shires. Our goal is to work closely with architects, builders and owners to a service that will ultimately allow the building permit to be issued without any unnecessary delays. We do this by using a common sense approach with one eye on the needs of the client and the other on the requirements of the Building Act / Regulations. Our goal is to provide a responsible building surveying and inspection service.
