Profit Recovery Systems (PRS), based in Cleveland, has provided auditing and cost reduction consulting services for more than 15 years. Our clients are many of the largest and most well-known public and private entities in Ohio and the neighboring states. PRS has two primary practice areas: Telecommunications Auditing and Expense Management PRS has worked with over 300 clients during the past 15 years, helping them to gain and maintain control over the costly and ever-rapidly-changing landscape of telecommunications and data. Our process begins with documentation/inventory of telecom assets and services, the related carrier contracts, and internal policies and management processes. Using that baseline information, we provide recommendations to improve service and to reduce costs by formulating and enforcing policy, optimizing assets and usage, renegotiating pricing and terms of contracts, and implementing best-in-class processes and platforms for telecommunications invoice management, expense management, and mobile device management. Comprehensive Expenditure Auditing Our service offering includes Accounts Payable Audit, Fraud Audit and Custom Ad-Hoc Audit services. Our Accounts Payable Audit practice has recovered over $50 million of overpayments for our clients, and concurrently we have provided assessments of procure-to-pay cycle procedures and controls to help our clients utilize best practices in this area. Our Fraud Audit practice has supported dozens of public companies’ internal audit teams and audit committees with our high level of expertise analyzing transactional and master file data to identify potentially fraudulent transactions and relationships. We provide Custom Ad-Hoc Audit services tailored to our clients’ needs, particularly in the area of contracts and compliance.
