Professional IQ College Information

Professional IQ is one of New Zealand's leading providers of education and training for those working in the financial services industry. Based in Auckland, we are a Private Training Establishment (PTE) registered with NZQA to deliver accredited programmes and qualifications in financial services, as well as Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to promote competency and professionalism throughout the financial services sector. Originally established in 2009 by the Insurance Brokers Association of New Zealand (IBANZ), Professional IQ has grown under its current ownership to become a trusted partner for employers and individuals across the financial services sector. Our programmes are delivered entirely online via a student learning portal. There are no set start dates, no fixed cohort schedules, and no in-person attendance requirements. Learners can start as soon as they enrol with no minimum completion timeframe — ideal for busy working professionals with varying time commitments. Professional IQ is well known in the sector for the quality of our support and pastoral care for all students, which covers every aspect of the learning journey. Our team members are all welcoming, approachable and respond promptly. The collective aspects of our pastoral care programme have a direct impact on completion rates as well as the student learning experience. Professional IQ enjoys strong relationships in the sector with aggregators and Financial Advice Providers and offers preferred partners a 10% corporate discount on the standard fee. This applies for group enrolments or individual student enrolments. We are proud to support financial services professionals, employers, and industry partners in developing the knowledge, skills, and qualifications needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving sector.
