PGI, also known as Precision Grinding, Inc. provides heavy Steel Plate & Steel Bar services. Primary products include cut, ground and machined steel plate shapes. Services include Plate Burning, Blanchard Grinding & Surface Grinding, Milling & Machining, and Welding & Fabricating. With a "one-stop-shop" approach to manufacturing heavy alloy and carbon steel plate and bar products for building machines and equipment, we inventory carbon steel plates from 3/8" thick to over 8" thick, including the most common structural hot rolled carbon plate grades, ASTM A36, A572 grade 50 and 1020 and the alloy plate grades 1045, 4140 and A514 T1 plate. Additionally, we provide steel stress relieving and annealing services from our on-site furnace. Precision Grinding has large grinding capacity, horizontal mills, vertical machining, and overhead crane capacity to handle large steel parts up to 40,000 lbs. As precision steel fabricators, we offer welding and assembly of steel plate, bar, tube, pipe, angle, I-beam, and common steel shapes for "Precision Fabrication." Larger, precision steel parts have normal tolerance requirements from .001" - .005". We manufacture machined steel parts for industrial machinery, heavy equipment and custom machines.
