Patten Purchasing was founded by Lori Patten. Lori has over 28 years experience in the purchasing field. Lori has handled over 70 projects at the corporate office level between putting years in at both Hyatt and Rosemont Project Management. While many purchasing agents don't have any hotel experience, Lori actually began her career with Hyatt Hotels at one of their largest establishments, Hyatt Regency Chicago. With over 2000 rooms, Lori has extensive operations experience including sales, human resources, food and beverage and rooms. Having the insider hotel experience has proved to be invaluable in Lori's purchasing career. She is sensitive to the importance of delivering on-time and on-budget. Patten Purchasing is a WBENC (Certified Women's Business Enterprise) company, with the flexibility to handle multi-million dollar new construction hotels to projects where only one aspect of the purchasing process is handled. Lori Patten shows her dedication through professional organizations such as The International Society of Hospitality Purchasers (ISHP) where she was elected president in May 2012. By regularly attending seminars and industry trade shows, Patten Purchasing is always on top of the latest trends in the industry. PP has extensive experience in sourcing and purchasing FFE's (furnishings, fixtures & equipment) and OSE's (operating supplies & expendible items).
