ParenTeach Information

After over 25 years of community education efforts and tracking data, the evidence shows that early parenting education can reduce child abuse and neglect rates, break the cycle of harmful parenting, create a level of comfort in seeking future parenting resources, and supportand increase students' social emotional learning competencies. AtParenTeach, our primary goalis to de-stigmatize, normalize, and buildawareness ofparenting educationin order to create ahealthier, safer and more productive society. We do this by providingaccess to a variety of positive parenting education courses for people of all ages and backgrounds, both in-person and online. In addition to providing learning opportunities,including our new program ParentAble, a curriculum for high school students, ParenTeachactively advocates for legislation to advance the parenting education movement.
