NicerFL- SW Florida Newcomer Immigrant Educational Center Information

NicerFL is a nonprofit established in 2020 to support recent immigrants and refugees in the Tampa Bay area. We help newcomers feel they belong in our community through our programs-small group English classes, citizenship preparation, youth English and academic tutoring, art classes for the kids, resource mentoring and social events. These services empower immigrants to achieve their personal goals and find a place they belong. SW Florida Newcomer Immigrant Educational Center Inc. was incorporated as a Florida nonprofit on February 1, 2020. We received tax-exempt status on May 20, 2021. The nonprofit registered to do business as NICERFL on December 2, 2020. We partner with libraries, schools, and other organizations to connect newcomers with vital resources. By engaging the whole family - from language lessons for parents to academic and English tutoring for kids - NicerFL ensures that everyone feels welcomed and supported.
