Nepal Water for Health (NEWAH) is a non-political and nonprofit national non-governmental organization (NGO) that specializes in safe drinking water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) promotion. Established in 1992, it is affiliated with the Social Welfare Council (SWC) - the governing body of the NGO sector in Nepal - and is registered with the District Administration Office (DAO) Kathmandu. Our Vision: Improved quality of life of all Nepali people through water, sanitation and hygiene services. Our Mission: Improve the living standard of the people in greatest need through equitable and sustainable access to safe drinking water, sanitation, and hygiene services. Our Goal: To bring clean water to the doorstep of the people, provide extensive health and hygiene education, and promote sanitation in communities through collaborative development programs.
