MXD Ltd was formed in 1998 as the UK and Ireland distributor for VIDAR systems Corporation , the world's leading provider of high-quality medical film digitizers. MXD has been principally involved in the supply of VIDAR medical film digitizers for a wide range of applications, including PACS, mammography CAD, teleradiology, oncology, and orthopaedic surgery. MXD customers include NHS, Private Hospitals, Medical Research Establishments, Teaching Hospitals, Universities & Laboratories. Our customers can be found throughout the UK, Ireland, mainland Europe, the Middle East and Africa. MXD is actively responding to demand from the veterinary and dental markets and introducing new products to suit. Additionally MXD has developed relationships with clients involved in Industrial radiography involved in non destructive testing of welds in pipelines and aircraft parts. Reprotec Ltd, our sister company, has been the strength behind MXD. Since 1995, Reprotec has been the European service and support centre for VIDAR Systems Corporation . MXD's customers are assured complete peace of mind enjoying full service and support from Reprotec. Reprotec's other specialty is the support and servicing of Large Format Scanners, as used in Council Planning offices, Government Offices, Scanning Bureaux, Print Rooms and Archiving Services.
