Thirty-two year-old founder and curator Mychaela lives and works happily in the rolling green hills northeast of Downtown Los Angeles with her family (5 year-old son/inspiration Mylo and his dad) and her outdoor "zen rabbit society" - seven of them! She opened Monkey Pant's first flagship store 1 year ago, located in the Japanese Village Plaza in Little Tokyo. Mychaela keeps busy with curating the store and website, managing design and production of Monkey Pants' private label, tending to the website and store, and pretty much all the other responsibilities associated with running the business. She has a couple great friends/supporters that help out when needed. Mychaela enjoys spending her Mondays off with her rabbits, sewing, and taking cultural field trips around L.A. with her family.
