Modular Docking Systems are an Australian Owned and operated Company, marketing the Eco Friendly Legodock marine pontoon system with-in Australia and New Zealand. The System offers the ultimate flexibility in configuration, simple installation and portability with extreme durability. The system has a very large range of uses for marine applications, including industrial, recreation, leisure and boating, rowing and canoeing etc. Modular Docking Systems are able to offer complete packages of product, accessories, offer assistance in design & installation as required. Modular Docking Systems sales office is based in Devonport, Tasmania with warehouse and distribution from Brisbane in Queensland. Modular Docking Systems have been appointed the Exclusive Australian & New Zealand distributors by legodock. Modular Docking Systems during the 2007 and early 2008 will be appointing Distributors/Installation companies strategically placed to service the Australian and New Zealand market. The system originated in Europe in the early 1970's as temp bridges for the military as well as floating docks, over 12,000 units were used at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. These floats are still in use today. The corrugated side was created and patented by Legodock's manufacturing division to provide the best and safest modular floating drive-on dock available today. The Legodock system complies with Australian Standards AS 3962/2001 and is also Patented under Korean patent no. 10-2004-0003658 and design reg 30-2005-0001-035.
