MJBennett provides real estate developnent and finance services focused on , envisioning, structuring and executing complex and transformative market rate and affordable multifamily/mixed use developments. Since 2014, MJBennett has participated in the successful development of 9 ground-up & existing/rehab multifamily/ mixed-use developments including 2,000+ residential units and 120,000 square feet of commercial space including seven developments in the City of Detroit. Four developments included Qualified Opportunity Zone Funds (QOF) and the first one in Detroit. The Detroit portfolio contains 1,200 market rate and affordable units, developed under the City's Inclusionary Housing Ordinance with assistance from the Detroit Housing Commission and in compliance with MSHDA AMI guidelines
