In today’s America diabetes has become one of the largest and fastest growing epidemics of our time. While diabetes can be a devastating diagnosis, it does not have to mean a devastating outcome. While some patients do present with symptoms it is very common for patients to be A-symptomatic (without symptoms) in the early stages of neuropathy. A nerve conduction study is one of the only ways to screen for diabetic neuropathy and to monitor it’s progression.
