Lift Strong Run Fast Information

Ive never considered myself a coach. Ive always considered myself a humanitarian through health and fitness. Lift Strong Run Fast was founded by Scott Wells in 2002 and is one of the most recognized fitness communities in The Woodlands, TX. Originally started as CrossFit The Woodlands, we were the third CrossFit gym to open in the greater Houston area. Scott was certified at one of the earliest CrossFit Level 1 Seminars under Greg Glassman at the original Santa Cruz gym. Wells excelled exceptionally as a CrossFit competitor, taking 5th at South Central Regionals in 2011. As CrossFit exploded in popularity, Scott began to realize the limitations to strictly training and teaching the CrossFit method. Taking his many years of experience and knowledge, the Lift Strong Run Fast fitness methodology was born. Combining conjugate training-style with a recovery-based approach, Scott discovered that training 52 weeks a year was not only possible, but proven to be effective. Today, hundreds of people in The Woodlands community and worldwide have changed their lives through Lift Strong Run Fast. Scott, Nicole and their 5 children have called The Woodlands, TX home for over 20 years. I have been training here for 4 years. Its great programming, Scott is a great trainer and the people are so encouraging. I love that its a no nonsense gym. You don't go here to wander around and hang out. You will see results and want to get healthy. There are ways to adapt the workouts for all levels of fitness, so don't be afraid to start.
