Automating Airlines Operational Costs using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) LegState leverages Trip Record and smartDOC as the foundation for handling Direct and Semi-Direct Operational Costs to support Route Profitability analysis The solution enables airlines to incur direct operational costs and support the invoice verification process at source based on the transactional data, to assign the costs on demand to a specific flight, sector, network, and to provide route profitability analysis on each level. The solution introduces a Cloud-based solution fully integrated with S4/ECC as a backend using SAP Business Technology Platform to verify operational vendors' invoices automatically based on operational data and on a unique pricing engine that operates complex calculations of the service costs incurred for all the airline's flights activities around the globe.
