Kailo means wholeness... Kailo was founded on the belief that bodywork is an essential part of building and maintaining a healthy horse. Gentle bodywork helps the body in balancing itself on every level and assists in creating the changes that allow horses to reach their potential. Carolyn Frances Jurgens, the founder of Kailo, is dedicated to animal health and wellbeing and contributes to this through her practice as a bodyworker.She holds a Practitioner Diploma in The Equine Touch and undertakes ongoing professional development through regular study. Carolyn has been involved with horses for most of her life and has a special interest in the connections between the physical, cognitive, emotional and behavioural aspects of equine health and in working with horses whose owners feel "they just aren't right" but who can't find remedy through other channels. She loves her work and finds it constantly intriguing and rewarding- she is inspired by the dramatic changes that she sees in the horses she works with.
