Israel Idonije Foundation Information

Founded in 2007 iF Charities (formerly the Israel Idonije Foundation) is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization, committed to impacting underserved communities by providing programs focused on social and emotional life skills. Predicated off the tenet “Together We Succeed," iF Charities is headquartered in Chicago, IL. and operates the following programs in Chicago, Winnipeg and West Africa. *Youth Leaders Summer Internship Program: The Youth Leaders program targets high achieving students from the IIF After School Program to participate in a summer long learning program including a reading and reflection project, exposure to job training and workforce softskills and career shadowing in the industry of their interest. *All-Star Football and Cheer Camp: Free one-day camps in June in Chicago and Winnipeg. The camps work to develop physical, emotional and social growth with over four hundred students annually. *Project Africa: In 2008, the Foundation developed Project Africa to provide medical health care services, clean water and youth sports empowerment programs in underserved communities in Africa. *Shop With A Cop: Each year, the Foundation sponsors "Shop With A Cop," which brings Chicago youth from undeserved communities together with police officers and encourages positive interaction between community youth and law enforcement. *iF Code: A free, skill-building program created and designed to give at-risk youth an introduction into the world of technology. Through the program, students gain insight and an education of marketable skills for the rapidly growing technology industry.
