Inter Development Futbol Information

IDF provides a level of detailed instruction. Focuses on every aspect of a young player's football education which includes technical, tactical, physical, and psychological, as well as their leadership qualities, based on methods that are known to be successful globally. Currently the program runs for ten (10) months each year and focuses on youth ages 7-14 years. We serve families and players from throughout the triangle area, which include Apex, Cary, Chapel Hill, Durham, Morrisville and Raleigh. IDF provides player education for its players via training sessions 3-4 times a week. Although our philosophy places a premium on training, we also participate in competitive league play, tournaments, and international friendly games. It is our belief that the ratio of proper training to games, at the appropriate age group, better prepares the players to be competitive worldwide. IDF identifies talented youths within our community and nurtures them, while simultaneously providing an education intended to make them competitive with youths of similar ages globally, now and in the future. Our football education program also involves educating the parents on the science of player development; proper player behavior; nutritional needs and the use of various audio/visual materials to enhance the players' formal training. Such football specialized information is disseminated via one on one meetings, electronic documentation, seminars and live demonstrations during training sessions. The close collaboration between coaches, parents and players have resulted in a brand of soccer culture that is quite different from what has been seen in the community in the past.
