Why we need groups permission when we are syndicating Group message to our CMS(Khoros, Telligent, SFDC and Reddit), we are showing which user posted the message on Linkedin. That time we need rw_groups permission. Based on this permission we are fetching username only. ICS is a platform which will be used to syndicate content between any of the CMS platform and social media. Currently, ICS supports Khoros, Telligent, Salesforce and Facebook and Linkedin. We can use any of the community as source or target. Once the message is syndicated, ICS uses the events mechanism to listen for any edit or reply to the messages will be syndicated without user interaction. ICS store some message metadata to relate these messages, metadata like message id and created time. ICS is pipe for the data, it process the data and publish the data to target. ICS will perform translation to the local language using google or msft or lingotek translators. Currently Microsoft communities – Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate are using ICS to perform the syndication of the content. Using ICS we are bridging the gap between social and community platforms. We are in the pipeline to implement this solution for Twitter, Spiceworks, Reddit, Zendesk, Sharepoint, Nuxeo, Acclaro, Higherlogic We are performing the POC for syndicating content between AutoDesk community to AutoDesk Linkedin Page / AutoDesk Linkedin group. We are deploying an application to publish the message to the Linkedin group. To publish posts, comments, into the linkedin group/page and consume events for the comments we need publish_pages and manage_page permissions. Please approve and provide us the required permissions to our application.
