For 36 years, House of Hope has been empowering qualified Martin County residents in need to overcome hunger and hardship. Operating as the largest safety net services provider in the county, House of Hope currently operates four client service centers, three thrift stores and Client Choice pantries, five nutrition gardens, the Elisabeth Lahti Nutrition Center, the Golden Gate Center for Enrichment, and an emerging Agriculture & Production Farm. On average, House of Hope provides 7,000 services to local people each month and distributes over 1.2 million pounds of healthy food annually to individuals, local church kitchens and food pantries, agency partners, and low income communities. As an organization, we work tirelessly to nourish, educate and empower people to break the cycle of poverty, overcome hunger, and develop healthier lifestyles. We are fortunate to have the generous support of many local individuals, groups and businesses that assist us in continuing and achieving our mission: to empower Martin County residents to overcome hunger and hardship.
