HIREF DESIGN Information

Hiref is a Turkish luxury artisan crafts and accessories brand founded in 2003 by Mister Güvenç Kiliç and Madame Ebru Cerezci, with the motto “Design your culture”. A sister highly educated in Industrial Design and Art History, a brother specialized in Finance and Marketing, and both passionate about design and handicraft. The fundamental principle of Hiref is to adapt the culture of traditional Turkish creations to a contemporary platform, preserving the ancient techniques and the talent of craftsmen. Each Hiref design is hand made without making any concession on the quality and sustainability. Hiref’s concept was born to safeguard traditional handicrafts that were about to be lost to the world, adding a contemporary perspective, while continually respecting their origin.
