HAL Software (IRL) Information

HAL Software is a Dublin based industrial Automation & Control software developer of solutions for enabling Automation integration from resource planning right down to plant level control.Our initial prototyping solution is called Spike (representing a software architectural spike) and it exposes ISA-S88 & ISA-S95 classes in a browser based drag and drop environment, together with a batch workflow engine to allow a user to rapidly wireframe out their industrial automation plant control schema. Once everyone is in agreement with the Batch animation and intersystem communication, the configuration can be exported to form the basis of a Functional design specification for a generic control system. In other words figure out what you want first before committing to any particular platform. Because all class properties and methods are exposed through OPCUA, the same infrastructure may be used for unit testing of that very functionality. Thats an industry first.
