For decades, basketball players have been stuck playing on dusty, slippery courts. It not only limits how hard you can play, but it can also lead to injuries. In the past, unless your team or coach had an expensive sticky pad, you were out of luck. Grip Spritz created a market - Basketball Shoe Grip Spray! It's 'Traction in a Bottle' that athletes can bring with them wherever they play. If the court isn't cleaned and your coach doesn't have anything for the team, you still have a personalized solution. This quickly evolved into reinventing the traction mat market. Sticky pads are old and outdated. After stepping on the sticky surface and removing the dust, dirt, and debris from the soles of the shoes, they just collected more. Every player wanted a new sheet, and this quickly added up. Not only in cost, but also in plastic waste. Grip Spritz uses no adhesives in our traction mat. We make the shoes grippy, not sticky! Consistent travel to state-wide athletic director conferences and basketball coaches' clinics quickly made Grip Spritz a household name in the coaching world. In our first four years, Grip Spritz has been named the 'Official Traction Aid' of five different coaches' associations. Ohio, Indiana, North Carolina, Washington, and Southern California. This garnered attention from the right places. Mainly, the National High School Basketball Coaches' Association. Grip Spritz then claimed their endorsement nationwide. Finally, we needed to solve the root of the problem - dusty courts. The Grip Spritz Court Mop was introduced in 2025. Similar to our reinvention of the sticky pad, we changed how courts are cleaned. No mop buckets, no harsh chemicals, no waiting to play. The Grip Spritz Court Mop weighs less than 10 pounds, cleans a court in under 15 minutes, and saves the school a ton of money. Grip Spritz ensures every court and every athlete can play their hardest, no matter what gym they enter. Better Grip, Better Game.
