In 2021, Given Tree's name was changed to WikiCharities. Mission Statement: To more effectively help those in need by enabling smaller charities to enhance accountability and performance through certification. Company Purpose: Given Tree’s purpose is to certify smaller charities, based on 3 areas of accountability -- Philosophy & Approach, Financial Health, and Performance -- in order to build trust and provide transparency to potential donors and volunteers. Additionally, we provide means of educating and improving communication from donor to charity, charity to recipient, recipient to donor and between charities.
