Future Citizen Information

We live in a globalized world where places, people, economies and developments are interdependent and interconnected. The global issues and shortcomings in any part of the world are impacting all; therefore, solutions need thinking, planning and acting beyond national boundaries. Furthermore, technologies and innovations in Society 5.0 are advancing and replacing a variety of skills and jobs; therefore, a new set of skills are required to lead the future. The world's youth need an education that is relevant to their world and their aspirations. Future Citizen is developing a new instructional design that will prepare youth to face current and future global challenges. Future Citizen’s programs will bring young people across the world together to engage, form understanding on the interconnections between the local and the global and build motivations to think critically and take actions. This will foster youth contribution to a more just, peaceful, tolerant, innovative and sustainable world, and instill a sense of belonging to humanity that will help us develop together without leaving anyone behind.
