Fruitzen is a family business. It all started because I loved the shaved ice snow cones I tried while visiting my future wife, Heather, in her hometown one summer during college. I had a dream of being a writer and didn't really like having a boss (I'm kind of a sassafrass, you know...) so I thought I'd try opening my own business. Fruitzen started in 2002 as a shaved ice stand in Marion, Iowa. Fruitzen is all about fun, healthy treats and lifestyle options. The future is exciting for this popular, growing brand as we are now in a position to sell our wholesale products (organic lip balm and all natural frozen fruit bars) into retail and distribution channels, as well as provide a couple different options or opportunities for prospective entrepreneurs to own their own small business.
