We give steel plants the evidence they need to make a major decision before they make it. We simulate steel plants in 3D: scrap yard, melt shop, caster and product logistics through to dispatch, down to individual ladles, buckets and crane moves and answer questions like: - Will the new EAF actually reach its target, or will something upstream cap it? - Can the existing cranes absorb a new vacuum degasser? - Where should the furnace go, and what does the wrong choice cost? - Is the scrap yard ready for a production increase? - Do we need another crane, or just better scheduling? Some of our concrete findings: a 21% rise in tundish costs predicted before the concept was committed to; basket loading cut from 41 to 17 minutes. A study takes 4 to 8 weeks. You get a model of your operation, a quantified answer, and a report you and your board can act on. We are not a generic simulation firm, not a software vendor, and not a large consultancy.
