FASHION FOR A CAUSE Information

Fashion for a Cause is a 501(c) non-profit organization established to acknowledge rising women in the fashion industry while shedding light on issues that directly affect our local communities. Fashion for a Cause promotes female empowerment and rewards women for their talents, achievements, and dedication to giving back to our community. This year, Fashion for a Cause is proud to be working with Constance Ng to present her 2nd Annual Spokesmodel Search. Constance hosts this spokesmodel search to celebrate the modern 21st century woman. Emphasizing both inner and outer beauty, Constance provides an outlet for personal and professional opportunities for participants to develop leadership skills that will last a lifetime. Fashion for a Cause was formed to plan, organize, manage and host charitable events to support the education of the general public about current issues and topics of concern to the public. Fashion for a Cause coordinates with various other unrelated nonprofit organizations to plan charitable events open to the public. The charitable events feature speakers, performances and slide presentations to raise public awareness about various current issues. Different topics of discussion will be featured at the charitable events depending on current issues of interest to the general public, for example current topics of discussion in the news. The success of this event would not be possible without the dedication and commitment of its volunteers and support from the community. Our staff and production team consists entirely of volunteers who dedicate their time and effort to make this event possible. We depend on the communitys support to ensure financial stability of this event. With the support from the local community we have been able to sustain this program for rising women alike. We provided training to women who have participated in our program, and have offered many of them opportunities to advance their careers. This year we are proud to be benefitting the San Francisco Asian Womens Shelter.
