ESHEA Information

ESHEA is a singer/songwriter from Surrey/Berkshire who began her musical career in dreampop bands Paper Boats and Softer Still. Now she is ready to find her own voice within dreampop genre with a nostalgic nod to the 80s. Her sound is a combination of bold electronic drum beats mixed with retro and contemporary synths, which compliment her ethereal vocals, submerging you into a fantasy world. ESHEA writes and records her own demos at home and has recently worked with Producer Gethin Pearson who has helped to evolve her sound. Pearson has also worked with other musical sensations such as Kele Okereke and Charli XCX. With an eclectic range of influences from folklore legends Kate Bush, Stevie Nicks, Clannad, The Cranberries to the fresh electro beats and synth harmonies of Frankie Rose, Brothertiger, Yumi Zouma and Wild Nothing Eshea’s debut single Heaven was written overnight after watching a TV show, inspiring an emotional resonance which echoes throughout the song. Its as powerful as it is melodic and introduces the start of this aspiring artist’s solo career.
