EMU Architecture Information

EMU architects was born in early 2017. The founding partners, Julián Elorrieta R. and Ignacio Mas A., after working in various recognized offices in the country, decide to become independent in order to create a new architecture office. Graduates from different schools, Universidad Católica and Universidad Finis Terrae respectively, both agree on the concept of architecture as a way to face the challenges of habitability and beauty that the contemporary world offers. With more than 8 years of professional experience of the partners, the office deals with both housing programs and equipment, placing special emphasis on the way in which architecture responds, with quality living spaces, both to the laws of the real estate world, as well as the construction and energy efficiency laws of the market. This concrete view is the one they have implemented both in small and medium-scale projects, and in the design and development of large-scale real estate projects, in different regions of the country. In the middle of 2018, Begoña Uribe L., an architect graduated from the Catholic University and a professor at the same University, who, sharing the same vision of the founders, comes to complement and consolidate the team with new design ideas and developing. As the office has grown in the quantity and scale of its projects, it has been incorporating more collaborating architects of recognized talent. Today it has a team of 5 architects and intends to continue growing.
