Donner Party Mountain Runners is a grassroots 501(c)(3) non-profit running club. We exist to inform, inspire and connect mountain runners in Truckee-Tahoe. Membership is open to anyone interested in sharing a run with us. Trail Running Truckee TahoeThe Truckee-Tahoe region has long been home to many avid trail runners. We created this club to share our passion for trail running in these beautiful mountains. Our name honors the early emigrants to California, especially those in the ill-fated Donner Party, who faced the mountains under very different circumstances. They were, like modern trail runners, UNAFRAID.
