Cotton + Quill LLC Information

Cotton + Quill was started by Mary Catherine Folmar in January 2012. The company specializes in custom textile and wallpaper designs, many of which are hand-illustrated. Cotton + Quill was first introduced in June 2012 at the West Indies Market in Rosemary Beach, Florida. Since then, Cotton + Quill has continued to grow and expand their business to offer fabric by the yard, wallpaper and trim offerings in addition to being featured in several publications and television media outlets including HGTV, Coastal Living, House Beautiful, Traditional Home, Southern Living, Cottage Journal, Southwest Magazine, and Southern Lady to name a few. Inspiration for our designs comes as much from owner, Mary Catherine Folmar's, southern roots as it does from her travels abroad to places including Taiwan, Italy and Europe. Our designs range in style from clean, geometric prints to ornate, intricately hand-illustrated prints. We offer a mix of bold hues and earthy neutrals throughout each of our collections. Products of Cotton + Quill are all designed and produced within the United States. Our creative process in done in Birmingham, AL and our textiles are printed out of North Carolina & South Carolina while our wallpaper is produced in Michigan. All of our final products are then custom-made in Birmingham, AL.
