Collins Custom Woodshop is owned and operated by Gary Collins. Gary has over 25 years of experience in residential construction plus more than 14 years' experience in finish woodworking. Collins Custom Woodshop offers you the opportunity to have whatever your dream project might be. Built only with solid woods and the highest quality sheet goods available, each project is designed and hand crafted to your individual taste such as size, style, specie of wood and finish. The number one step in producing each project is to LISTEN to determine what the "CUSTOMER" wants and strive to accomplish that goal. One such project, a kitchen built by Gary while at Old Mill Mantels formerly in Jackson, MI, was featured on the cover of Better Homes and Gardens Special Interest Publications, Beautiful Kitchens, 2009. This kitchen was designed by Gregory Richard of Remington Architecture , and the finish trim around the kitchen and ceiling was done by the crew of contractor Rod Wilt of Wilt Builders . The attention to detail and quality that went into the construction of this kitchen is the same attention that goes into every project produced in the Woodshop, no matter what the size. The Woodshop will install or ship projects (for installation by home owners or their contractors) anywhere within the United States.
