Coaching Construction was established in 2015 by David Shipp with the goal of increasing effectiveness, efficiency, innovation and safety in construction through raising the standard of management and supervision within the industry. David's passion for managing and developing people comes through a 15 year career as a Civil Engineer. Motivating diverse groups of people in highly pressured situations in an ever-evolving environment has created a focused manager, determined to help others succeed. A qualified and experienced coach, Trainer and NLP Practitioner, David's experience includes designing and delivering training and development programmes that have resulted in significant change for client businesses and organisations in the UK and the Middle East. David's skills in developing teams and individuals enabled a rapid rise up the management ladder in his past roles. His abilities as a project manager achieving health safety, quality and environmental standards are well established. As a qualified Civil and Structural Engineer, David was instrumental in the delivery of many projects, from shopping centres and roads, to ports and airports, achieving the required result on time, to standard and on budget. His expertise took him to prestigious projects all over the UK and overseas including London Heathrow Terminal 5, Stockholm Metro in Sweden, and the Venice Barrage in Italy.
