Our goal from the start has been to do much more than simply "digitize" content otherwise found in text books and other traditional forms of instructional materials. What we have constantly strived to do instead is to develop Internet-based resources that meet three critical criteria: ■ Scientific basis. The learning model we've developed is closely aligned to the discoveries that cognitive scientists have been making in recent years about the conditions, factors, and practices that underlie successful learning; ■ Real world practicality. Our combination of content and functionality takes into account the real world pressures of day-to-day classroom teaching; ■ Ease of use. Our instructional resources are easy and engaging for students to use—but not at the expense of academic rigor. We welcome the opportunity to demonstrate for you the multitude of ways our research-based combination of "drill-down" assessments, "walk-me-thru-it" tutorials, and teacher-friendly learning management tools can make a meaningful—and, perhaps, even transformational!—difference in not only the learning outcomes you are currently achieving in your school or academic support program but also in the time, effort, and expense it is taking you or your learning organization to achieve those outcomes.
