Founded April 13, 2014, Bit Bash Chicago was established to further the culture of independent interactive arts in Chicago by hosting larger, public-facing events. Our goal is to promote games that either can’t be played at home, have unique controllers or experiences, promote community or have a unique artistic statement Proceeds are shared with the Video Game Arts Foundation to host educational events and fund the development of more games and interactive work by Chicago artists.
