Biosync Technology AB is a research-based and commercially driven company aiming to become a leader in stress measurement in the daily environment by combining high quality product offering with deep knowledge of customer needs and stakeholder map. Our mission is to improve quality of life and prevention of costs caused by stress and stress related diseases. Stress has been announced as the "Epidemic of the 21st Century" and costs corporates and society billions of Euro. Stress is believed to be associated with at least 60-70% of all visits to the doctor, while stress management is an important component in managing many chronic conditions. Our solution has also been proven to provide a great value in other fields. Our product is a wearable biofeedback tool for daily life stress measurement and self-reflection, based on the research performed over 10 years by SICS (Swedish Institute of Computer Science) and Mobile Life VINN Excellence Centre with the aim to understand how technology can help people manage their emotional state. Research was conducted by one of the leading researchers in the field of Human-Computer Interaction and Internet of Things, Professor Kristina Höök. The system consists of a wristband with biosensors, and mobile and web-based applications for data visualization.
