The ASTEC Group was established in 1994 and has grown into a multi-million pound, world-wide provider of engineering, safety & risk consultancy and managed contractor services in the energy and transportation sectors. We specialise in placing highly qualified and experienced professional engineers with blue chip clients, particularly in the Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Transportation and Renewable Energy Industries. Our clients include operators, engineering prime contractors, support and services companies and engineering consultancies. Our services are provided by a pool of professional consultants, associates and contractors, managed by an experienced team from our office in the UK. All of our consultants have many years experience working in senior engineering, engineering consultancy and project management roles in their specific sector. Our success since the mid-90s has been largely due to our flexible approach to working with our clients and associates. In 2011 ASTEC became part of Risktec Solutions. Risktec is an established, independent, specialist risk management consulting and training company. Risktec assists clients in major hazard industries and commercial and public sectors to manage health, safety, security, environmental (HSSE) and business risk. As a result of the merger, ASTEC has further expanded into overseas markets, supported by Risktec offices in the Middle East and North America We are supported further afield by our ultimate parent company, TÜV Rheinland’s comprehensive network of offices and local representatives in other regions around the world.
