ARCHBEACON Information

AB01 is a tubular self-contained structure made of stainless steel or gel coat which forms an arc with a 6-metre radius and is equipped with six built-in LED panels. Its optimal positioning is at the end of the outer dock together with the port entrance beacon. The principal innovation that we are offering resides in the introduction of the concept of movement in port signalling; an element which, moreover, has already been applied in the field of air-traffic signalling and which is very common with road traffic. Thus, the premium value of AB01 compared to conventional markers is the creation of a light beam, movement of which indicates the position of the exterior port beacon and thus distinguishes itself from all the other lights on the coastline. Why harbours should install the Archbeacon? - The Archbeacon shapes a unique highlighting sequence above background lighting. - With only two points of support it projects a wider dimesnion of signalling lights. - It provides an elliptical view when sailing oblique and thus sailors can notice its position torwards the entry channel. - Serves both as a day and night mark since the GRP can be coloured green or red and it includes the AtoN on top of the Archbeacon.
