A-1 Lapping was founded in 1975 and has experienced steady growth since its inception. But it is not only our quality, price and delivery that has gotten us here. We pride ourselves on the fact that when you call A-1, you will speak to a real person that will either assist you, or connect you with someone who can. Being "hands on" with our customers will always be our way of doing business. A-1 has been and will continue to be 100% committed to quality. Our goal is to exceed customer expectations with every part that we produce. To achieve this goal we constantly invest in the newest and best production and inspection equipment available. In 2007-2008, we invested over $1.2 million in Fine Grinding, Flathoning and inspection equipment. While we still pride ourselves on our vast experience and knowledge of the lapping process, our vision is that the Fine Grinding and Flathoning processes are the future of the market. Through continuous investment in our business A-1 stays ahead of the market and our competition, and ensures our customers the best value.
