We hope that our website will be able to provide you with vital information whether you are an existing tenant, potential tenant interested in applying for a house, a sharing owner, a factored owner or someone simply interested in what we do here at Spire View Housing Association. Our roots lie firmly in social housing but our commitment to community regeneration goes well beyond bricks and mortar. We were delighted to be the first organisation in Royston to run a website back in 2005. Since then we have developed the site further with a fantastic new look. Spire View Housing Association recognises that tenants' aspirations are constantly changing. We have the experience, expertise, financial strength and confidence of our stakeholders to ensure we continue to meet those aspirations placing tenants and customers at the 'heart' of our service delivery. Our oldest properties were built in sometime between 1919 and 1939 but have been utterly transformed inside and out over the past 25 years. New houses have been built to replace some of the old run-down tenements. A small, hard-working team of 9 staff look after day-to-day management and maintenance of these properties. True to its grass-roots origins, 15 local people volunteer their time to govern the Association as members of the Management Committee. We must offer a huge thanks to the Co-operative and Business Development Fund, DRS Glasgow City Council who provided Spire View with £3,000 funding to develop this wonderful new website.
