Reynald Associates Limited is one of the premier architectural firms in Trinidad and Tobago offering Architectural Design, including Interior Design and Landscape Design, Contract Supervision and Project Management Services. The founder Mr Shelford Reynald passed away in 2003 leaving behind a productive and established company on which to build. The firm's portfolio includes a diverse range of projects, including private houses, courthouses, office buildings and its core commission - secondary and primary schools. Since 2003, the firm has been undergoing a process of transition under new leadership, with new goals, additional staff and a renewed sense of being. Mrs Cheryl Adams was invited into the firm in 1999 by Mr Reynald and worked as co-principal of the practice, along with its founder. Having served in both the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Works prior to her arrival at RAL, Mrs Adams' contribution to the practice has been invaluable with regard to her extensive experience in the construction of numerous government projects during her tenure at the various Ministries. Mrs Adams now leads RAL as the firm adapts to the demands of the current profession with its increased dependence on technology, multi-tasking and heightened specialist services integration. The firm intends to expand its portfolio by focusing on other project concepts and types, such as in the field of sustainable architecture. Specific goals we have attained is that two (2) of our Architects have achieved the designation of Leed Green Associates from the United States of America Green Build Certification Institute. With its experienced, proven and reliable foundation, RAL is using this established base as the platform from which to launch into the future to create an architecture more reflective of the current environment and technology. The envisioned architecture is one that responds to the context, climate and culture of present day society, and which ultimately promotes vision.
