Formerly Young Liberty for Law Reform, Rights Advocacy Project is a community of lawyers and activists working to advance human rights in Australia. We work across a range of issues including equality, government accountability, refugee and asylum seeker rights and criminal justice reform. We are entirely run by volunteers. Each year we recruit a team of lawyers, students and policy-makers and provide them with strategic advocacy training. Along with the Steering Committee, these volunteers lead our advocacy, guided by Liberty Victoria supervisors.
