Dubai Aluminium ("DUBAL") Information

Dubai Aluminium (“DUBAL”, also known as Jebel Ali Operations) is an operating subsidiary of Emirates Global Aluminium ("EGA"). The DUBAL complex comprises a one million mtpa smelter, a 2,350 MW power station (at 30°C), a large carbon plant, casting operations (more than one million mtpa), a water desalination plant, laboratories, port, storage and other facilities. Premium quality, highest purity aluminum products are made in three main forms: foundry alloy for automotive applications; extrusion billet for construction, industrial, transportation and forging purposes in automotive industries; and high purity aluminium for electronics and aerospace. The entire annual production is pre-sold each year. EGA has developed proprietary, high amperage aluminium reduction technologies at the Jebel Ali Operations site, namely DX Technology, DX+ Technology and DX+ Ultra Technology, offering greater energy efficiency and productivity, while minimizing environmental impact. DUBAL holds ISO 9001, ISO 10002, ISO 14001, ISO/TS 16949, ISO/IEC 17020, ISO/IEC 17025, ISO/IEC 20000-1, ISO 22301, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 29990, ISO 50001 and OHSAS 18001 certification.
