Since its inception in 1866, Barrett Steel has continued to expand both organically and by acquisition making us the UK's largest independent steel stockholders. Our head office is still located in Bradford, on the site where our nineteenth century founder, Henry Barrett, set up premises in 1910. It now comprises 43 companies operating from 30 locations across the UK and is divided into four divisions: General Steels; Engineering Steels; Tubes; and Energy Products. Barrett Steel consists of numerous steel stockholding companies and divisions operating across the UK and serving customers worldwide.
